# Memory that follows you across every AI app

> Your AI forgets between chats and apps. Arora saves your preferences and decisions once and loads them in Claude, ChatGPT, and everywhere else.

Your AI forgets everything when a chat ends. Arora doesn't. Memory holds your preferences, decisions, and context outside any single conversation, so the next chat starts already informed.

Memory lives on your Arora account, not inside one AI app. Save something in Claude and it is there in ChatGPT, too.

## What to save

* **Preferences.** "Always write client emails in a warm, short style."
* **Decisions.** "We use net 30 terms for all new wholesale accounts."
* **Context.** "Our fiscal year starts in February."
* **Facts about how things work.** "The Ops list in ClickUp is where intake requests go."

Just say it:

```text theme={null}
Remember that our fiscal year starts in February.
```

```text theme={null}
What do you remember about our wholesale terms?
```

## How it loads

At the start of a conversation, Arora loads about ten memories: your pinned ones first, then your most recent. Everything else stays searchable. When a topic comes up, your AI searches your memory for what's relevant.

## Pin what matters most

Pinned memories load first, every time. Use pins for the handful of things your AI should never start without.

```text theme={null}
Pin that. I never want you to forget it.
```

You can have up to 10 pinned memories. Pinning an 11th unpins your oldest pin. Nothing gets deleted. It just stops loading first.

## Edit, delete, restore

* **Edit.** Changing a memory saves a new version and retires the old one.
* **Delete.** Deleted memories can be restored for 90 days. After that they are gone for good.
* **Restore.** Ask your AI to restore a memory you deleted by mistake.

## Limits

| | |
| - | - |
| Length of one memory | 2,000 characters |
| Pinned memories | 10 |
| Results per search | Up to 50 |
| Restore window after delete | 90 days |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Some AI apps have their own built-in memory. That memory stays in that one app. Arora memory goes everywhere you use Arora. If you want something to follow you, tell your AI to save it to Arora.
